Nonprofit food resources across the Black Hills are facing increased demand due to the federal shutdown this November. We are working with Feeding South Dakota and community partners to help get food to families who need it this month.

*This list includes walk-in food pantries only. Visit Feeding South Dakota’s Mobile Schedule to find a mobile distribution or senior box program near you. We’re actively working with our community partners and the database team at 211 Helpline to keep the list up-to-date.

Community Food Pantries
Rapid City

Food Pantry open starting Monday, Nov. 10 for those needing assistance with food once every 60 days. Verification of residency and picture ID is required.

Serves families in Spearfish & St. Onge. There is no income requirement. Clients need proof of residency in Spearfish or St. Onge.

Lead/Deadwood
A food pantry that can be utilized up to 1 time per month for residents in the Central City, Deadwood, and Lead area.

Provides limited amount of food up to 1 time per month for residents of Sturgis and the immediate area. Need proof of income, Picture ID, or Birth Certificate and social security card
